Uniform Screen Space Scaling While Maintaining Relative Positions
Hi all!
Trying to work out a problem here in Lens Studio. My goal is to have several Screen Images that are placed very particularly in relationship to one another (i.e., Image A always overlaps Image B so that some text on Image B is always visible and never covered up by Image A), where this particular arrangement of images is centered on the device and adaptively takes up 100% of the available horizontal space without changing the relationship between where the images are placed. I can't seem to figure out a way to handle this with the Screen Transform settings. I've managed to find a solution where all items keep their relative position to each other and are centered, but clipping occurs at smaller device widths. Other solutions have led to scaling image sizes (thus no clipping) but erroneous positioning. Any hints would be appreciated!
Please see attached diagram to better understand what I'm getting at.
Hi Zach ,
I just modified this project for you as a concept .. you can modify it by your own material
modified project - text must remain visible
I adjusted the screen transform the size of the texture will change respectfully with safe render ..👉 Inspector panel > screen image Stretch Mode > Stretch
just to keep all material inside frame without getting them conflicted with each other
I hope this helps .
Cheers ,
Ghaith
Ghaith,
Thank you for the example! It mostly works very good. The only problem is that the relatively distance between the objects also changes depending on device width, and some of them distort the image unnaturally across devices.
I really appreciate the help, though!
I will leave the topic open in case anyone else has this sort of issue.
