Lens Rejection Question
Hi everyone
I had some lenses rejected yesterday and wanted to know what I can do to make them available again.
I already sent a message through https://support.snapchat.com/en-US/i-need-help but their automatic response says I might not get an answer at all.
The lenses rejected have been in use for a few months and were published as hidden. They were created by me to be used by my co-workers on our video conferences. Yesterday I updated them and tried publishing them as publicly visible, which got them rejected. Now they won't approve the lenses even when I try updating them again as hidden. The lenses use copyrighted material owned by the company I work to, but were published under my personal Snapchat account.
Anyone has any tips on how to get my lenses approved or other means of contacting Snapchat Team?
Thank you all in advance
Seams like they changed something with the rejection filter, happend to a lot of my lenses that have been out and got millions of plays. And when I try to upload it it does not go trough..
Also have problems with uploading a new lens, gets rejected every time even tho it’s all ok in the rules
Sorry to hear that Alexxxy. I wish the feedback on why the lenses got rejected were clearer. Anyone knows how to get in touch with Snapchat Support so I can solve this ASAP?
Hey northonmingo
Can you tell us the vioalating components? Like if its only the preview or the Logo then it can be fixed easily. And does the rejection message only say something about the copyright? Working for a company doesnt automatically mean that you have the copyright. If you can prove that you are allowed to use it, then i would email lensstudio-support@snapchat.com with your license for using it.
Cheers,

Hi SirQu3ntin
Thanks so much for the response. The rejection reason says "This Lens contains unlicensed, copyrighted-protected content. Content in Lenses may only feature original or authorized works". My Lenses use face tracking attached to the 3D meshes of characters from my company's games, the characters are also on the Lenses' icons.
You are right, I don't have copyright, I sought advice because I have made several updates to them over the last months and this is the first time they got rejected.
I'll contact my company's legal department so they can advice me on how to get proper licensing before I follow up with Lens Studio support.
Thanks! 😁
