Can you explain more about what you are trying to do? I'm not following, sorry.
use the face mask feature. and I can't move the image when I insert and image for a face mask/mesh I can't move it around the face

There is a difference between face mesh and face mask. If you are using a face mask, zoom out and select the whole mask. Now there should be a square which you can adjust so that it fits for you.
If you are using the face mesh you can use the UV Map to put your image onto that texture. Then just disable the UV map and only save your image. You can import this image then later to Lensstudio for the face mask. Here is a tutorial from Christian Roberts.
