Submitting Business Lens

  •  Well, you could test it out first in community lens just put it privately. Then turn on Do not Promote and if everything seems fine you could upload it as a Sponsored/Business lens

  • Thank you Samuel,

That is what I have done earlier. We were looking for an option to have the lens under our clients account. Since this is the first business lens I'm working on, I wanted to make sure that after submitting the lens, we can still make edits and the lens won't be public.

  • Hi Mikko,

Are you looking to submit a test Community Lens or Sponsored Lens under the client's account? Are you able to submit the same Lens project under their account and keep it on Do Not Promote? You should be able to do this on either account.

    Cheers,

    Neha

  • Hi Neha,

    Thank you for your reply.

    It is a Business Lens.

Business lenses don't have option to keep it on "Do not Promote", but they are automatically kept hidden so it's not problem.

I have another issue with the finalization of the Business Lens, for which I am not able to find any help on documentation.

After our client approved the Lens. I "Finalized" the lens.

    This is from your documentation;

After reading the documentation I understood that the Ads manager is where the lens will be distributed to snapchat.

"The final step will commit your Lens into Ads Manager where it can be attached to a campaign by the advertiser and distributed to Snapchatters!"

Even the confirmation email clearly stated that Lens is in Library and further action is needed to create the ad.

However the Lens went live. (Which our client did not want)

I haven't been able to log in to Ads Manager for two days. The server is hanging, all I can see is loading animation on a blank page.

To prevent this from happening in future, could you provide more information about right procedure and also check why Ads Manager server is not responding.

    Regards,

    Mikko
