Glowy face effect

  • Hi Beauty Guru,

In general you can get skin smoothing through the Retouch component. This component will have skin softening that doesn't blow out the user's face.

If you'd like additional softening, it will be a bit more involved. You can grab the Blur camera from the Hair template to get a blur pass. Then, you can use the Texture Mask field on the Blur camera to mask out the part of the face you don't want to blur.

You can create a mask based on the user's face by creating a Face Mask on another camera and setting it to a new render target. You can see some example face mask in the Photo template

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

    Thanks,

    Jonathan

I do not understand -  How do I do this?

When I try - I just end up with a small image of the face rendered on the face mask.

I guess I can not really wrap my head around how to put this up...?
