Sharing the link to a lens

When I share the link to a lens on Facebook (and I think other Social media platforms too), tapping the link with Android results in a redirect to the Snapchat app in the Google Play Store. I can then Open or Delete the Snapchat app, but when I open Snapchat there's no lens added.

Is there another URL that takes me to the webpage of a lens first, and then having a button there that add the lens to my carousel? Or a URL where it does add the lens right away?

    Does this happen with all Lens links? And is it a specific Android device you are using?

    Hi Natasha,

    This happens with all the Lenses I share on Facebook. I'm using a OnePlus 3T. I tried it on Instagram too, by putting the link in my bio, but that worked like a charm.

    Hey Kaitlyn,

    So far I have only encountered the issue on Facebook, with a link post. Tapping the link redirects to Snapchat in the Google Play Store.

    I can exlude Instagram and Reddit from this issue, sharing links there works just fine.

  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.
