Custom Landmarker VFX Interaction
Hi all,
I'm a beginner to the platform and I've been trying to do something with the Customer Landmarker template recently. In the template I've added some VFX particle emitters in front of the custom landmarker to obscure it, but the landmarked object mesh seems to interfere with the particles despite being behind the VFX emitter, and even after turning off the Render Mesh Visual. Toggling visibility of the landmarker mesh also seems to do nothing to fix this. It appears to work better from further away and at some angles. As far as I know I don't have any kind of occlusion set up. Here's an example of what I mean: https://youtube.com/shorts/yYXMtsNoqvo?feature=share
An additional issue is that I've noticed that the landmarker isn't always properly centred. Occasionally the landmarker mesh is mapped to a location half a meter or so away from the actual landmark. Is there any way for creators to tweak this in Lens Studio?
Thanks for the help!
I've tested this with a normal object instead of a custom landmarker mesh, and it seems to be a render order issue? Once I start using the custom landmarker template, lens studio no longer seems to prioritise my render order, causing all objects to show up in front of all VFX regardless of render order. Is this a bug?
