Face Texture mapped to face mesh

  • Take a look at the solution in the great tutorial by modelsbymike3d :

  • Thanks Abdullah but that's the same technique as the link I referenced above and only works if you don't move the face mesh. I have a face mesh nested in an object with a rig which is bound to the head rotation.

  • In Spark you can extract the face texture as a UV. This then allows you to add to a face mesh. The face mesh can then be included in rig so it can be attached to just the head rotation and can be placed anywhere in your scene and scaled to any size.

I'm not sure why this functionality doesn't exist in LensStudio - only being able to have the face mesh relative to the user is restrictive in what you can build.

  • Yes I got you now and although I haven't seen a solution or a tutorial for it, I think I saw some lenses utilize this. Will try to look for these lenses and find a workaround.
