Soft reflection edge on face with iridescence material graph
Hi all :)
I took the soap bubble material from the Asset Library and made some adjustments to it to get a smooth shiny face.
Now i tried a lot of different things to make the edge soft, so that the reflection of the light does not end on a harsh line around the face.
I am not super familiar with materials graphs and shaders, and was hoping someone coul point me in the right direction :) Thank you so much in advance!
You need to add an opacity mask. The default face mesh material comes with one I believe. You'll want to look at that material and make changes to your shiny material to support the opacity mask.

I have a black and white mask for this purpose, and I tried to recreate the setup in my material graph but I couldn't get it to work .. :/ it looses it's transparency. Could you show me how to integrate the mask?
I found a workaround now that my face mesh includes the skull also, but I'd like to learn how to do it properly with the opacity mask!
