You can use the Upper Garment template for doing your pattern drafting, like dress, skirt, or shirt, for it is an upper garment. I am attaching a PDF file for attachment. You can print it out and draw on it, then trace it onto your fabric with a pencil and cut out your pattern. You can also use it as a guide to draw on to a large piece of paper and cut out your pattern. Remember to add seam allowances on all of your pattern pieces. You can add seam allowances using the guide on the template.
