Greetings Fellow Members,
A friend of mine is a very popular public figure and entrepreneur, he is Verified over all other social platforms. Recently he had been facing some serious issue, numerous accounts had been impersonating him to sell courses and other services (Basically Scamming) in name of him.
Is there any way through which he can apply for a golden star so that all snapchatters can see his authentic profile and avoid getting scammed through fake profiles.

This forum is for questions related to Lens Studio. Since your friend is not a lens creator, this isn't the place to ask for general Snapchat questions. That being said, there is no way to apply for verification on Snapchat unlike with other social media platforms. My only recommendation is to start a public profile and grow a following. If you see scammers you can report them.
As Maya🦋 said, If he is verified on all other social platforms he can create a public profile and gain huge followers in no days then he will automatically get a gold star.

This is where Snapchat is quite inferior as compared to other social media that prioritise and help creators grow!
If he is famous in other platforms social media he can make public profile and share his profile to call his audiences.
Once he get subscribers ( many ) Snapchat will verified him as a public figure.
