  • Hi gogoanimefree,

From what you've mentioned about only being able to Take a photo when using the Anime Style Lens on Snapchat, I believe its because of your Device, (if you're using an Android Device). Some Models of Android Devices won't be able to Cope / Handle some of the new Lens Types, in this Example; Machine Learning (Style Transfer), so the Solution for the Lens Studio Team was to allow these devices to only take a Photo when using these type of Lenses. It may be a bit annoying to a User for spending the amount of money that they may have on a Device and to use Snapchat and not being able to use all the Lenses in the way they're supposed to be used, but the Lens Studio Team as of right now, didn't really have another choice in Regards to Stability and for all Lenses to work on all Devices. If possible the only Solution for a User is to Upgrade their Device to a more newer Device in which these new Lens Types will be Supported on their Device or to Continue using Snapchat and the new Lens Types on their Device but only being able to take a photo. Hope this helps.

    Happy Snapping,

    John
