"lense should utilize camera" solution

A lot of people encountered the problem where your lense gets rejected with the reason "Lense should utilize camera"

What triggers this?

This happens when you make it possible for the user to upload an image from gallery as a snap. (creating fake snaps)

How to get rid of this rejection?

add water mark on the image upload screen, make it so they cant zoom in on it, make sure the user is detected in the snap before you allow them to upload,...

  • Copy and paste this text into your TerminalCommand Window
    open ~/Library/Preferences/Snap/Lens\ Studio/ %LOCALAPPDATA%\Snap\Lens Studio Copy Text
  • Press ReturnEnter to run the command. The Lens Studio folder will automatically open
  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.
