Unfortunately, it's likely due to the operating system or hardware you're using – since they don't meet the system requirements for Lens Studio.

Minimum Requirements
Operating System: Windows 10 (64 bit); MacOS 10.11+
Hardware: Minimum of Intel Core i3 2.5Ghz or AMD Phenom II 2.6Ghz with 4 GB RAM; Intel HD Graphics 4000 / Nvidia GeForce 710 / AMD Radeon HD 6450 or better; screen resolution of 1280x768 or higher

Unless you have joined the official creator program, this is probably a bug.
I think only the Snapchat or Lens Studio team could help you with this problem.
If someone on the Lens Studio Team contacted you via email before then you should probably ask that question in the OLC creator support email not in the forum, but if you have no idea what I'm saying then never mind it's not real just a glitch.

yeah as they say anyone have public profile will show the snap star
try search about someone that don't have public profile u can't see the star .
Yeah i did anyone with the public profile has the star is it a bug? Or is lens studio recruiting us

Then provide your issue
A ticket will be opened with a case number and will be sent to your email
