Any reason why several lenses are lagging/choppy lately?

  • I should clarify I'm using windows 10 and Snap Camera (not snapchat on my phone)

  • I am having the same issue with a RTX 2060 and a Ryzen 5 3600

  • I can confirm 2 things.

    1) This is still a problem with at least RTX 2060 cards and the latest drivers as of 6-30-2021

    2) The fix for the laggy snap camera filters is to rollback your Nvidia Driver.  May as well go with driver  457.30 as this one provides better FPS in games AND the filters work just fine.

I hope someone fixes this problem =/

  • Ok , I'm back to resurrect this thread.. I've upgraded to a 3070 TI and can no longer use the 457.30 driver for this "My Twin" snapcamera lens ...   Can someone help me figure out this problem!? It's like a staple of my live streams to "play hot girl" sometimes and I really don't understand why this one and several other lenses don't work right and are extremely laggy with the newest nvidia drivers. This is driving me nuts. Any solution here? The only lenses I really use are below and they both run extreeemly slow.. No reason to on a 3900x with 3070 TI.    As explained above, they only work properly on the OLDER nvidia drivers.  At this point I'll pay somebody to fix this problem for me!
