3D objects over a mask worn in real life
Hello =)
If I'm wearing a mask that covers more than half of my face and trying a 3Dobject to appear on top of my eyes. Lens Studio doesn't recognize my face when I wear a mask and wouldn't apply anything.
I'm wondering if there is a walk around to do this with Object tracking or SnapML?
Thank you!
Hey @...
I dont know if this helps you but there is a template, where the face is tracked even when there is a mask covering half of your face. Maybe you can use the ML component in the template to customize it the way you want it.
The template can be found here.
Let me know if it works for your project.

Hi @SirQu3ntin,
Thanks for the reply!
I was looking at that one too, but I feel like the ML component is tracking anything that looks like a medical facemask... I tried it with my mask and it doesn't work lol
I will take a look into its .js to see if there is anything useful in there.
Cheers!
And just to make things clear.... the mask I have is a simple balaclava mask =)
