Hey Lensstudio Members,

Is it possible to like skip the first frames when generating the preview media? Or that the user can adjust the preview media generated by Lensstudio.

Mostly there are no problems, but for lenses that first take a little bit time to "analyse" the preview, for these lenses the first Frame of the preview media wouldnt show the correct "Lens". Its a bit hard to describe but hopefully understandable with the following image.

 

^ This would be the preview media. Seems perfectly fine but for a split second it does not show the right image. Because of this the first frame of the preview looks like this:

And this first frame is what the people see at first when they see my Lens for example in my Profile/Trending etc. I can easily upload a custom preview but just wanted to let you know that this happens to me for some lenses.

    Hey!

    I get this problem a lot too which is why I opted to, like you, just save the preview generated by Lens Studio and then trim it manually. It would be a great idea however to have more customization in terms of the preview generated within Lens Studio. Hope your request gets heard!

    open ~/Library/Preferences/Snap/Lens\ Studio/ %LOCALAPPDATA%\Snap\Lens Studio Copy Text
  • Press ReturnEnter to run the command. The Lens Studio folder will automatically open
  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.

Unfortunately, it's likely due to the operating system or hardware you're using – since they don't meet the system requirements for Lens Studio.
