I'm trying to create a filter for snapcam that would capture a few seconds of recording on trigger and then continuosly loop it back on screen.
I can manage to do it with a freeze-frame through the texturecopy function but I want to grab a moving sequence.
Is this possible already or a feature I should request?

I have seen a Lens creator doing a Boomerang Lens, but it was very complicated i guess.
So its possible but hard to do. Would be great if you request this as a feature.

Following this. Boomerang lens does this, but it flashes on the virtual camera (which shows people you are doing it) when the record of the loop is made. That one works pretty well, but the flash being visible makes it not work for (what I would assume) would be the intent. I also found Record Loop, but the button functions are a little dicey. That one allows you to prerecord a clip of your desired length. I would love to see someone do that. It would be the perfect way to park on a looooooong Zoom call.
