Can I do a "head and shoulders inset" instead of a face inset?
I want to make it so the head and shoulders are always in the frame - not just the face. The idea is, for example, putting someone inside a giant robot where you can still see the shoulders and upper chest.
I'd like the anchor to be on the body and not the face, so that head movement will still be visible (I want to be able to see them nod their head, double over laughing, etc.), but restrict total side to side body movement so they stay in the frame.
(And I want to anchor it between the shoulders, or potentially a little lower - I want them to be able to shrug without moving their entire self in the frame.)
How do I do this?
Hi Genevieve,
You can use a screen image with segmentation.
In a blank project, there will be no visible difference, but if you move the Screen Image around, you will have just the person isolated from the background. You can position the Screen Image as needed.
If you need the person positioned in 3D space rather than in 2D, you can do the same thing but with an Image Object instead of the Screen Image. Just swap out the default image material for the Unlit material that has the segmentation.
