Snap Camera not listed in Chrome, stuck on "Starting" on Firefox

Right, so... (All this is on Mac, Big Sur, Snap Camera fully updated)

1) I can see myself in Snap Camera app.

2) Snap Camera isn't listed as a source in Google Meet in Chrome

3) Snap Camera is listed in Google Meet in Firefox, but it just says "camera is starting" if you try to select it. If you've had a different camera selected first, the preview/image just freezes.

I have tried clearing the caches, I have reinstalled. I'm pretty much out of ideas at this point. Anyone got any other suggestions?

    Uninstall the app then go to the App Store, search for a studio lens, install it, and then install the latest version through the studio lens website

    1. I have exact same problem ("camera is  starting").

    2. There is no "studio lens" found in App Store

    open ~/Library/Preferences/Snap/Lens\ Studio/ %LOCALAPPDATA%\Snap\Lens Studio Copy Text
  • Press ReturnEnter to run the command. The Lens Studio folder will automatically open
  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.
