Zodiac signs

  • I made this lens that grabs zodiac signs from the birthday.

    You can get the birthday then manually use the month & day to find the zodiac sign.

    I was planning to release this script anyway so here is my function to convert date to zodiac sign:

    https://pastebin.com/raw/hGuyrfiU

    and to use it in your own script first add this script in the scene before your custom script, so that the function will exist when you call it:

    then in your script you call this function using global.getZodiac() and passing in a date.

    To use the user's birthday it would look like this:

    global.userContextSystem.requestBirthdate(function(birthdate) {
      var zodiacSign = global.getZodiac(birthdate)
    });

  • Hey thank you so much! I've been trying to figure this out for awhile. I'm still very new to this So I'm able to make the script in the resource panel, but I'm having trouble getting the script into the Objects panel?

  • Check my video on  using scripts here: https://youtu.be/fRDOTia_F1Q?t=91  (skip to around 1:30)

    You essentially add the script component to an object then add the script into the script component.

  • Thank you! So the kind of lens im trying to make is that the zodiac sign would appear on their head based on what they are and it would start glowing like a neon sign. I figured out how to add animations to snaplens its more like I don't know how i would make that happen?
