Access to common scripts, or package manager

As I have been delving into lens creation, a feature I would really appreciate is to be able to quickly access / import common scripts used throughout the templates. For example something like the "Chain Controller" script, used in the Chain Physics template. It would be really nice to just click the add button in the resources panel and have a Scripts tab with common scripts (perhaps grouped in categories), which are currently used across various templates. Right now is feels pretty cumbersome to create a new project and then search through the templates (which you have to create and save locally) for code related to specific features you would like to implement in a new lens.

 

Also, just curious anything like a package manager something that is on the Lens Studio roadmap?

  • Copy and paste this text into your TerminalCommand Window
    open ~/Library/Preferences/Snap/Lens\ Studio/ %LOCALAPPDATA%\Snap\Lens Studio Copy Text
  • Press ReturnEnter to run the command. The Lens Studio folder will automatically open
  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.
