About public profile
I've seen people getting public/creator profiles (lens creators and noncreators) so I heard Snapchat isn't giving profiles away more in a while. I was just thinking it kind of hurts to have almost 1b total lens views and over 200 lenses done and seeing that people with like 2 filters or no filters are getting the profile!! I'm still going to be doing lenses but just wanted to give my thoughts about this thing that is going on. It would be nice if there were something that only lens creators can have since all we have at the moment is really just numbers on a screen :/

Yeah, I totally agree. My lens view are not nearly that much, maybe 10 million, but our lens views should mean something. Maybe after a certain number of lens views/uses we should get a public profile.
savannahshu Yeah totally agree with you! It would be nice to get some recognition for our work at least besides the numbers on the screen even if it has some kind of requirements, at least something.
Yeah. Hopefully snapchat adds more official lens creators soon, because then you get a verified profile. But even a public one would be nice. Also, I checked out your lenses, they are awesome!

I have a public profile and I'm famous at the social media and I'm a lenses creator and im not sure why i didn't got the gold star I'm famous and I will upload a picture as a prove . its not seeking but famous people should get it like me but i didn't got it and i have a public profile.

I also agree with you guys. I only have like 70 million views. But i have seen people with just like 6 lenses or so having a verified account or a public profile.
But i also can understand snapchat, as there are probably too many people with have similar views like us.

SirQu3ntin yeah, I don't really like the fact that people with a really low number of lenses have the profile and for example, people like us who have made a lot of lenses (like me over 200) don't have the profile.
And you're right I can understand Snapchat why they probably won't. But some recognition would be nice for making lenses and getting them views ;)

Biistis my views go to 2milion of the lenses and my account is a public profile but i didn't got verified and im famous i mean they should see the people who create lenses and famous should be having the gold star and public profile. As yall see in the top imp famous.
I just want to add that I know there are so many lens creators who have much more views than i have but still I some recognition after some point would be really nice, it would motivate many creators to do more and learn new things including myself.

Yeah I only have 15 million views but there are some people I know who haven't used snapchat in months and they got a public profile without posting or using it but I didn't and I post and make filters

@maxime i get thousands of views entertaining people on snapchat who don’t want me to stop posting, but some of my friends have deleted snapchat and don’t use the app and will never use the app and recently got a public profile. They don’t know they have one because they left in may. One in february. They don’t even make lenses. So it’s frustrating seeing people that aren’t actively doing ANYTHING get one before me

I feel we can also Join Forces and make good lenses and also share ourselves on snapchat to gain that maximum numbers. i know some 8 friends who have a group and they all share each other everyday, they all got it the same day. So i guess team work would help tho

Hey, Everyone it's not about views its about the Quality of the lens. If your lens is well made you will see a lot of snap users share your lenses in my case I post my lens one or two times on my story and the lens gains traction. I recommend build a community of positive viewers, most of the time they will love your lenses so when you are about to release a new lens viewers will be excited for you to release a new lens. When I release a lens overall it's a great feeling. When I go through snap stories and I see that my lens is being used by someone that's having a good time, smiling it's a great feeling knowing that I made that lens.This is my advice on how to grow your snap lenses
