How do I add saturation/exposure to a lens

  • Hi!! The best way to do this is by going on your phone and using a color correction app (such as, "Lightroom" or "VSCO") and importing an empty LUT. To download an empty LUT, go to https://lensstudio.snapchat.com/guides/2d/post-effect/ and download the Base Lookup Table. Then, take this picture and import it to your desired color correction app, and make any adjustments until you get your desired look. (If you want to see how your LUT looks before importing it to lens studio, use a random photo you want to test it on and make the same adjustments that you did with the LUT.) When you're finished with this step, import your modified LUT to Lens Studio, in the Resources panel. Open an empty color correction in the Objects panel, and change that empty LUT to your custom/modified LUT. You can change the Alpha to your desired opacity and that's about it!! Let me know if you have any further questions :))

  • Hey Ttsutter

    Just use a Color Lookup Table and make it brighter in your photo editing software.

    You can click here to find more about it.

  • Hey Ttsutter

    This is how i did it :

    -> Import the lookup table in Lightroom

    -> Turn up the saturation ( not too much)

    -> export it as png

    Then i usually dont use color correction in Lensstudio as you cant control the alpha.

    I add a preset lightroom from Lensstudio like "beautiful" and then i change the "texture" to my Lookup table.

    For me this solution worked.

    Feel free to ask if it still doesnt works.

  • Ttsutter in order to add the color correction in lens studio 3.0 or higher, you need to go to post effects, click color correction and then you need to click on the color correction layer and press Add component, and then scroll down and click post effect. disable the top effect with the check box and now you should see a box that says Post Effect at the top and it should have a slot for Material, Texture, and Alpha. You leave the material as it is, you change the Texture to your LUT that you modified, and then you can lower the alpha(opacity) I hope this helps.

    Happy creating,
