Hey Cinthia,
The first thing I would do is make sure I have the latest version of Snap Camera installed. That tends to solve this issue.
If that doesn't help I would need more info about your situation. What software are you seeing the yellow screen in? What kind of computer are you using? Windows 10? MacOS Catalina?
Cheers,
Vincent
Vincent Tang,
Thank you very much!
I have the newest version. I have a mac laptop, macOS Catalina. But on one computer user, it does work and on the other it doesn't. In my personal account, it works fine, in zoom, meet, etc. But in my sister's user, no, only the yellow screen appears.
Hey Cinthia,
Is the Snap Camera app running when your sister tries using it with Zoom/Meet/etc.? Both have to be running at the same time.
Cheers,
Vincent
Of course yes. My sister turns on snap camera while she uses meet and zoom. But in her personal account it doesn't work. XD
I repeat the facts. My sister and I use the same computer. We have our own user account, on the same computer, each one. I installed Snap Camera on the computer. Snap Camera works on my user account. When my sister uses the computer, uses her account (of the computer) and the application does not work, the yellow screen appears. :...(
Any suggestions?
Thanks for your attention and help.
Any update on this?
I have the same problem. I'm running Snap Camera 1.18.0 without problem on a Mac Mini M1 with Mac OS Monterey 12.3.1.
However, I created a second user account on that same Mac, and Snap Camera doesn't work for that user. I can see it works from the Snap Camera app itself, but when I try to use it as a device in any other program, I only get a yellow image.
If I log in back to my primary user account, it does work.
Both user are admin users and both have access to the camera under Privacy settings.
I reinstalled Snap Camera from the account of the second user in my machine, and then restarted the computer. Now the virtual device of Snap Camera works for the second user, but it stopped working for the primary user.
It seems it's not possible to make it work for more than one user in the same Mac.
