"Something Went Wrong" Error

When I open Lens Studio, to login, I click the login button in the upper right corner. However, when I press this button, a "Something Went Wrong" error appears, with no option to go to a login page.  This has happened all day and I am not able to log into my account in order to publish effects. I have already tried redownloading lens studio and restarting my computer, but this has not resolved the issue. 

Any help would be much appreciated -- thanks!

    Hi Rhea, 

    To fix this, you will have to quit and restart Lens Studio after you've verified your account within the Snapchat application.

    To verify your account within Snapchat you must demonstrate that you have a valid phone number and email. To verify your phone number check out this guide; to verify your email follow the steps detailed here.

  • Copy and paste this text into your TerminalCommand Window
    open ~/Library/Preferences/Snap/Lens\ Studio/ %LOCALAPPDATA%\Snap\Lens Studio Copy Text
  • Press ReturnEnter to run the command. The Lens Studio folder will automatically open
  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.
