insect mask lens

  • Hi,

This can be achieved fairly easily with the Photo template, check out references of Face Mask as well! The key is to use realistic photo assets for realistic outcome. Once you got the assets you'd like, here are how to attach them in Lens Studio:

In the Photo template, you can import a custom photo of an insect face or any animal you choose, and attach face points according to the image.

Adjust Blend Mode for more realistic blending.

For the teeth, you can simply add two face images.

Make sure to have the attached point as Mouth Center for objects around the mouth.

Have 2 objects with the teeth png image, with one of them flipped horizontally, then you have it. :)

Hope this can be of help, happy creating!

  • Thanks Nico! I see you added the teeth here, but is it the same way to add the 3d antennae in the ant filter?

  • Hi!

The examples you used are using 2D images as teeth. They're very photorealistic so it looks as if it's 3D. You can achieve the same result with photorealistic teeth.

But if you want to add 3D objects to face, check out the Head Binding option under Face Effects, that will allow you to append any 3D objects to the head ;)

Let me know if you have any further questions!
