3D object just don't show up
Hey everyone,
Recently I started working on my first 3D head binding lens, and I designed my 3D object (a Space Helmet) with Sketchup. Now obviously, I exported the file as an .obj AND .fbx with triangulated all the faces, with the textures. At first, I had trouble importing the file into Lens Studio, but now it imports fine (only as an obj) but the actual model does not show up at all. I tried looking on Youtube and the Guides for help but I just can't fix it.
TL;DR - Making a 3D lens, file won't show in the Lens Studio workspace.
Here's what it looks like, if that helps at all.
Anyway, thank you and help is any help is always appreciated.
There's No Tree on it, that's why there isn't anything showing, the arrow next to it the left arrow, meaning there is no object to display
In The Resources Panel Right Click Helmet And Initiate it.
Thank you so much for the feedback!
I Instantiated it but it still doesn't show up on the studio part. I have no idea what the 'Tree' and 'arrows' are though.
Again, thanks a lot for getting back.
I just find it difficult to explain what I’m trying to say sometimes, click meshes and make sure you have a mesh in there, it looks like when you initiate it it’s not really initiating because nothings going into the Object panel
When you Instantiate an object it should like this
It seems as if your meshes did not import at all. Usually there is a little dropdown arrow in the meshes folder which means there is content inside the folder. In this instance there are no meshes in your import. What software are you using for your export?
Does this help you make you project working? I'm trying to access it. See here some resources.
