Yes - it seems to be a bit off :)

It seems like you are using the facemask and that you already discovered that you can move the points so that it matches the lashes. That might be a bit hard to get right though.
Have you tried using the Photoshop template for the facemask?
There you can put the eyelashes on and have more control over where they end up.
In the
Look at the Facepaint template page to get more info and there you also find a link to the Photoshop template.

In Photoshop - place the eyelashes under the Eye - folder in Layers
To export the eyelashes - have that folder selected and then use
File > Export > Artboards to Files
to export just the eyelashes.
Then use the Eye part of the Face Paint Source - and switch out the texture in the to the one you exported from Photoshop.
