Help with Image Markers

  • Hi, JAK!

    Marker reset on tap is a feature of the Marker Tracking Component itself.

    But you can use touch blocking to prevent this

    global.touchSystem.touchBlocking = true;

    (I guess it's not working in studio but will work on device)

    For the fading I would suggest to use Behavior script and play tween.

    Please see simple example project here

  • Olha, I tried to use the example project to cause my scene object to fade in when the marker is found, but i couldn't it to work for the 3d object i'm trying to fade in.

    Is there a way to make this work for 3d objects instead of 2d images?

  • Hi, JAK!

    There are a couple ways to do this, this one will work with current project:

    In order for alpha to tween the material on your 3D object has to have a baseColor parameter and a Normal Blend mode.

    What kind of material are you using?

    Default lens studio materials should have this color setting,

    If you are using Graph Material - you can create color parameter named "baseColor" and multiply right before the shader node

    Hope this helps!
