SceneObject selection issue

  • Are you using a mouse or a touch pad?

Seems to work fine for me.

Can you share a small example ?

  • I'm on the macbook pro with the built in touch pad.

    Here's a video of the issue https://drive.google.com/file/d/1N3Mjmj6AGSPXw_8f45IA5GeNMbv_zhuT/view?usp=sharing

    It's basically 2 things

    1) if you tap an image inside of a scene object it will always pick the image and not the scene object. in graphical programs like Sketch it alwsys picks the outer element first (scene object) then a double click will pick the inner object (image). I belive Lens Studio should behave like that as well.

    2) the actual bug is in the video. after I select the image on the left panel, then select the scene and then try to resize on the preview screen it will resize the image and not the scene. sometimes it just doesn't respect that I tapped the scene after I tapped the image. So resizing will resize the image and not the scene.

    thanks

  • Also another separate issue is working with zoom. If you have the zoom at like almost maxium and you have a lot of elements on the screen, when you start dragging or resizing something lens studio will crash.

  • Another unrelated suggestion. When having multiple screens on a lens it would be good if we could have the visual interface be like in Xcode where each scene has its own separate UI tool. Otherwise I keep having to disable all scenes just to be able to work on one scene. Like how in Xcode a story board can have one screen for each view controller.
