Crash in macOS HighSierra 10.13.6 with Radeon GPU on Lens Studio 2.3.1

I uses iMac with macOS high sierra 10.13.6 with ATI Radeon HD5750 1024MB GPU.

Yesterday, I downloaded the lens studio 2.3.1. However, when I open Lens studio, it crash automatically without showing any interface. The icon appear in taskbar jumping, then disappear. And an error message appear.

 

I saw in the update description saying the 2.3.1 fix the bug on 10.13.6 with Radeon GPU, which is exactly my setting.

However, the error still exist in my case.

I had totally no problem using lens Studio 2.0.0.

    Unfortunately latest Lens Studio does not support your configuration, you can check minimum system requirements here

    1. Is there anyway to bypass this minimum requirement? My computer is strong enough to handle lens studio.

    2. What is the latest version that support ATI Radeon HD5750? Is it version 2.0.0?

    3. Where can I download the previous version of Lens Studio?

    4. If I create a project in other computer with lens studio 2.3.1, can I open and edit that project in this computer using Lens studio 2.0.0?

    1. Unfortunately system requirements are not only "raw power" measure but also supporting some standards, etc.
    2. 2.0.1 should work for you, you can download it here
    3. It hasn't been implemented yet, but we are working on it, and I can share link to some specific version you need
    4. I might work, but it isn't guaranteed, I would not recommend rely on such scenario.

  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
