Not able to select script inputs

  • It looks like I can't add 2 scripts to the same object.

Made 2 separate objects and it worked.

  • It broke again.

Basically there seems to be a bug on linking Component.ScriptComponent.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

As you can see on the screenshot is says

"20:59:55 Failed to parse script: Invalid value name 'mySlider;' at line: 7"

How do I fix this bug?

    thanks

  • Hi, Marco Vanossi !

Looks like you have an error in one of other scripts present in a scene. Could you please find that script and fix an error? Or you can disable all other sceneObjects except the one with your script and see if it helps.

Also please make sure that you saved changes in a script.

If that doesn't help could you please send me your project I'll figure out what is wrong.

Also : you can add as many scripts to one object as you want.

You can either have them in separate Components, like this:

Or have to scripts in one component. In this case . their input's will be combined:

as for this : "20:59:55 Failed to parse script: Invalid value name 'mySlider;' at line: 7" please be sure that you don't have semicolon (' ; ') on the lines with custom inputs
