Moving objects in the Y direction with the World Object Controller script

I would like to use manipulate to raise the 3d object up, and not just side to side and forward/backward

 

Is there something I can add to my world object controller script to make this possible?

    Hi, JAK!

    Moving finger up and down controls forward-backward movement by default. If you wan't it to control up and down instead please look at this post.

    Quick Idea - create an empty object, rotate it -90 by z

    Make object with Manipulate component a child of it

    Set next via script: 

    // @input Component.ManipulateComponent manipulateComponent
    script.manipulateComponent.minDistance = -9999

    Let me know if this helps!

    Or if you want to control all axes at the same time I will invent something :)

  • Press ReturnEnter to run the command. The Lens Studio folder will automatically open
  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.
