Creator Badge

  • Great Question Zack, so to become a official lens creator it can be different for many. From my experience and experience of other official Lens creators, views aren’t the main key, even if you’d made 300 million views off 1 Lens. Some tips I’d recommend, is being engaged with lens studio, and creating lenses, that are super creative and fun for users.

  • Hi Zack,

Thanks for your interest in becoming an Official Lens Creator! When we select Official Lens Creators (OLCs) we consider the applicant as a whole looking at each Lens and its individual quality, their talents, their potential, their community activity, and more. One does not need to have very popular Lenses to be considered an OLC but rather a passion for Lens creation and strong desire to keep creating into the future.

Rest assured if you haven't heard from us that does not mean you have been rejected. We will look into your application and will be in touch very soon.

If you haven't applied yet, you can submit the application here

    Cheers,

    Neha

  • Thanks, Neha.

Do you have any advanced tutorials on creating lenses? I'd love to become an expert. I've submitted about 14 lenses. Looking to hit the 30 mark soon.

It's not something you can request it's an invitation-only program.
