Tracking Face Inset Effect to a 2D Animation
I've been attempting to track 3 face inset effects (left eye, right eye, mouth) to a 2D animation with animation tracking data from After Effects. No luck just yet.
I know it's available for 3D animations.
Has anyone been able to achieve this? Is this functionality even available? Any insights would be appreciated!
So far I've only been able to use the Face in Video template to achieve a similar effect, however it's a full facial track. Not separate facial elements.
Hey John,
I'm not sure what are you trying to achieve, can you give me an example?
Have you looked at the Paper Head template? Maybe that is what you looking for?'
Please let me know.
Cheers,
Amir.
Amir,
I appreciate you reaching out, and apologize for not responding sooner!
Very simply, I was looking to track a face inset object to a 2D animation using the After Effects animation script export. I was able to achieve the same effect using a 3D object animated with the After Effects animation script export from the 2D animation.
