Hand 3d object tracking
hi im trying to create a hand 3d object tracking lens, n i used your script for attaching 3d objects to hand
https://lensstudio.snapchat.com/guides/general/tracking/object-tracking/#3d-object-tracking this one
and while this is working according to the script, but this is very bad tracking
my object is appearing anywhere whn it starts, but whn i target my phone camera to my hand, its continously flickering, moving and scaling on its own, and when i want to zoom in closer to look at my 3d model, my model moves further away from camera n its position of rotation is fixed, meaning i cannot look the backside of my 3d object.
i want to make something like this

please tell me how can i fix this, or please make the script better
Hi Muneeb, after looking at the lens I’m not sure 100% if the 3D model actually tracking the hand and the users making it look like it. At the moment I don’t believe Hand tracking supports 3D models due to it only being a 2D dimension not 3D dimension. If possible could you send the lens unlock url?
Hey Muneeb,
What you can do is to open the Hand Template. Then find an object called Hand Image under the Orthographic Camera in the Objects panel.
Then delete the image component.
Now you can add mesh visual component to the object by clicking on Add Component and selecting the Mesh Visual then select the mesh you want to be rendered.
Now you attached the 3D object to the hand.
Also you can add smoothing on the tracking by turning on the Smooth Following checkbox on HandTrackingController [EDIT_ME] object.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Cheers,
Amir

Hey Muneeb,
All the object tracking including hand tracking are design to track an object in 2D space which means you don't get a result for rotating your hand in 3D space.
Hope this will help you.
Thanks,
Amir.
@amir Alivi
Well thts too bad i was hoping that i would create something new on lensstudio :(
Please try to get the 3d integration in it though
