Hey Iradchenua,
In order to create a camera output, in the Resources panel click on Add New button and then select From Camera.
Then you need the select the camera that you want to get the output from.
Now you have a camera output showing on the sprite.
Hope this will help you.
Best,
Amir.
Hello, Amir
Hello Amir
Thank you but the problem is that the sprite has a rectangular shape, but I need to have output in circle. Is there a way in the lens studio that allows you to create a sprite like circle.
Best,
Iradchenua
Yes,
There are lots of ways to solve this problem.
The easiest way is to create a sprite material and add an opacity mask to it.
To create a new sprite material, in the Resources panel click on Add New button and then select Component Defaults -> Sprite.
now select the Sprite Material and in the Inspector panel remove the text inside the Defines input.
Now you will have a input for the mask.
In the basText input select your camera output.
Now you need Photoshop or any drawing tool to create a mask texture and assign it to OpacityTex.
After assigning both baseTex and opacityTex you need to apply the material to the sprite object.
The opacity texture should look something like this:
You can modify the opacity texture in Photoshop to make sure it will cover the parts that you need.
Hope this will help you.
Best,
Amir.
Thank you for help:)
