Creating a Lens for iPhone X

  • What is being cut off, sprites?

  • Exactly. Essentially, I have an animation at 1080x1920. Looks good on all other phones ( versions 6,7,8) but when I tried it on the iPhone X, there is empty space at the top and bottom of the lens. I was wondering if theres a way in Lens Studio to adjust for the newer iPhones. This is a Lens that would take up the whole screen.

  • Check this out and try the fill modes on the sprites:

    https://lensstudio.snapchat.com/guides/2d/billboard/

"Fill Mode - How the sprite is fit to its bounding box. Your options are Fit, Fill or Stretch:

    • Fit - Fits the sprite in the bounding box without changing the image's aspect ratio
    • Fill - Fills the bounding box completely without changing the image's aspect ratio
    • Stretch - Fills the bounding box completely, stretching the image to fit (thus, changing its aspect ratio)"

Stretch or fill should solve the problem you're having
