my pairing isn't working with snapcode

WIN10 , android phone.

I've loaded a template, saved it to my computer to just test it > made sure nothing is paired by clicking Pairing > Disconnect > so that's fine. THEN hit PAIR YOUR DEVICE > snapcode appears > I centre it in my camera view on snapchat app > PRESS + HOLD ...30seconds later Still nothing. Why is it not working ?

My laptop and phone are also on the same WIFI network as each other..

    Hey hrg1,

    Do you know which Snapchat version your phone is running as Lens Studio requires at least version 10.28 of Snapchat. 

    You can check what version of Snapchat you have by:

    1. Opening Snapchat
    2. Tapping the Profile icon in the top-left to go to the Profile screen
    3. Tapping the gear in the top-right to go to the Settings page
    4. Scrolling to the bottom (even past the "Log Out" button)
    5. Holding the scroll so that you can see the Snapchat version

    Also what type of phone are you using specifically?

    Hi, I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S6

     

    Snapchat version is uptodate >> v10.44.5.0

    and the current version of Lens Studio installed.

    Any ideas how to resolve this?

    open ~/Library/Preferences/Snap/Lens\ Studio/ %LOCALAPPDATA%\Snap\Lens Studio Copy Text
  • Press ReturnEnter to run the command. The Lens Studio folder will automatically open
  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.
