Feather edges of sprite

  • Hey Chris,

    Yes what you can do is to create a Sprite Material by clicking on Add New -> Component Defaults -> Sprite in the Objects panel. (You can use this technique with other material types too)

    Then, click on the material that you just created and then in the Inspector panel delete "NOMASK" text in the Defines input.

    This will let you to assign the opacity texture.

    Opacity texture is a black and white texture that you can create in any image creation tools like photoshop.

    White color means visible and black means transparent(Not Visible).

    Now that we have a mask ready all we need to is to add our opacity texture to the OpacityTex input in the material like the gif below.

    Finally assign your material to your sprite and voila!

    You now have a sprite with feather edges.

    open ~/Library/Preferences/Snap/Lens\ Studio/ %LOCALAPPDATA%\Snap\Lens Studio Copy Text
  • Press ReturnEnter to run the command. The Lens Studio folder will automatically open
  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.
