How to make your lens private.

  • Hey Brit,

Just answered you in the other thread, but I'll reiterate the answer here for the rest of the community:

After you submit a Lens, you can turn on the "do not promote" option by:

    1. Opening "My Lenses"
    2. Clicking on the Lens you want to not promote
    3. Clicking on the three dots in the bottom right corner of the Lens details view
    4. Clicking on "Do not promote"
    5. Clicking "Okay" to acknowledge the statement

Then your Lens will not be promoted in Lens Explorer and will not be shown in search results. Note your statistics will disappear for a couple minutes as the system resets your Lens, but they will reappear shortly.

Also note that the Lens is "private" as long as you don't share it and "do not promote" is turned on. To completely ensure that no one can see your Lens, simply turn it offline within My Lenses.

    Cheers,
    Kaitlyn
