Display "shop now" on lens and direct to my website

  • Hi Carriecarryon8,

Currently there is no way to add a "Shop Now" Button to a Lens made in Lens Studio, but I can let the engineers know you'd like the ability to sell custom merchandise through your Lenses.

As for the Official Lens Creators, there are currently 57 of them and their profiles are displayed on the Creators Page. You can apply by clicking the "I'm Interested" button on the Creator's Page here.

    Cheers,
    Kaitlyn

  • Hi Kaitlyn,

    Thank you for your response!

I might soon need the ability to sell custom merchandise. How do I contact with the engineers? via emails?

Also, I have a question about lens exposure.

As a new lens creator, how do I get to the first page of "lens explorer" / "trending lenses"? Does Snapchat have certain standard for getting new lens exposure? like reaching certain views /shares/uniqueness and be recommended to the first page.

If I hope my lenses be enjoyed by more and more people, what can I do to promote?

Thank you for all the help!!

    Regards,

    Carrie

  • Hi Carrie,

The Lens Studio site only shows trending Lenses, and Lenses we've selected to be placed on our homepage/ creator/ Lens pages. While there isn't a certain threshold of statistics we look for in placing content, we do actively search for Lenses we think our audience will appreciate. To boost a Lens's popularity by yourself consider posting it here on the forum or other social sites as recommended in this guide. The more you share, the more likely others are to share.

You can also get guaranteed impressions by submitting the Lens as a sponsored Lens and paying to promote. There are three ways to pay to promote Lenses on Snapchat:

    1. Use Snapchat's self-serve tools to bid on ads where users can 'Swipe Up' (our version of a click) on video or photo ads to play with a Lens for as little as $50 per day.
    2. Pay for an audience-targeted Lens served directly in our camera with an agreed upon CPM. This is now available through Reach x Frequency buying in self-serve for approved clients in the following countries: US, UK, FR, KSA.
    3. Pay a flat fee to takeover Snapchat on a single day, reaching all users in the first position Lens in the camera. Pricing depends on reach and expected impressions for that day.

For more information about to how to pay to promote a Lens, please visit our Business Help center here. For specific inquiries, please use the form in the Business Help center.

    Cheers,
    Kaitlyn
