Tweening Face effects

  • Hi Bram! It's definitely possible. When you import the Tween system it includes a number of Tween Types. You can look at the internals of these to create your own Tween Type that works for other parameter driven things in Lens Studio. For example, here's a script I created to Tween the Face Stretch feature intensity.

You can treat above like the other tween types; however, this one takes in a Face Stretch and a feature name. Then, it'll tween the intensity of that feature.

  • Hi Travis,

I was playing with the Tween Face Stretch script, but I'm having trouble getting it to work with a Tween Chain. Is there any trick to that?  I've got 3 Face Stretches I'm trying to play in sequence using the chain, but the Tween Chain script doesn't seem to be able to see the Tween Face Stretch script.

    Any help is much appreciated!

  • Hi Phil,

There is now a Generic Value Tween Type you can use with Tween Chain to create the sequential tween effect you're looking for. You can learn more about it here: https://lensstudio.snapchat.com/guides/scripting/tweening/

    Best,

  •  Hi! Is there a way to to choose a face index for 'Face Found' when tweening? I want the tween to run when the second face is found, not just one face.

    Thank you :)

  • Hi Leah,
You could try putting your tween effect under a head binding set to Face Index 1 (second face).  Then it should only work on the 2nd face.
    I hope that helps.
