Masking 3D Geometry
Wondering if there is a way to mask 3D geometry?
I have a set of 3d objects that animate out of another object such as stairs animating out of a wall, the wall animates up and the stairs then animate out of the wall. In Cinema 4D I would just hide the stairs until the wall was animated up and then trigger the stairs to animate out using the Visible in Render and Visible in Viewport keys, everything is hidden until I set the visible key to true or on.
Another way to achieve something like this is with the Boolean object in cinema, I can use that to animate something coming out of another object as if it was a mask
Right now when I bring the FBX into lens Studio you can see the stairs all the time and then when its time for them to animate they animate to there proper position but I don't want to see the stairs until they are animating.
Hope that makes sense
Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated

Hey Jeff.
You can hide the object by using "Occluder" material.
Occluder material can be applied to an object to occlude, or mask, other objects. Please follow the Lens Studio material guide to learn more about the materials.
Window template in the Lens Studio is using the occluder to hide 3D models, you can play around with that template also to see how is occluder working.
Best,
