Mouse dragging doesnt work in MacOS

Hi, 

I have the latest Lens Studio v 1.0.1

MacOS 10.13.3 

The issue: Im unable to use Lens Studio because when I try to drag anything around.. it drags for half a second and then it loses selection. ex. Trying to move a 3d object using the axis arrows by click and drag with the mouse over one of the x,y,z arrows. 

Even trying to move he camera around.. it just drags for half a second.. then it loses selection. I had this issue with LensStudio 1.0.0 same issue with 1.0.1. I just cant use it the tool at all because of this. 

It happens with trackpad and usb mouse. 

 

Please let me know if this is a known issue.

    Hey Omar,

    Happy to dive into why you're having issues dragging objects.

    What's the model of the mouse you're using? Is it possible you have software running in the background that's interrupting window focus?

    Hi Kaitlyn, I believe I fixed it... 

    It was the app called: Unclutter. that I had running in the background.

    I killed it... and apparently Im able to drag easily now.

    Thanks for the fix idea.

     

    If the issue comes back I'll report it.

    open ~/Library/Preferences/Snap/Lens\ Studio/ %LOCALAPPDATA%\Snap\Lens Studio Copy Text
  • Press ReturnEnter to run the command. The Lens Studio folder will automatically open
  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.
