Review process is too vague
Hi
I created a lens for a Hackathon: a rocket with our logo on it.
The lens was first approved, and was live a couple of minutes, but was then rejected.
It is totally unclear to me why. It would be nice if SnapChat could be more specific and write a line or two about the specific reason a lens was rejected. Just refering to your guidelines is too vague.
Apple is much better at this when reviewing apps for the app store, for example.
Otherwise I will think twice in the future before investing my time in something that leads to nothing...
Which would be a pity, because I really like Lens Studio!!!
Hey jelmer,
Thanks for your input; I'll add this suggestion to our feature request list and appreciate you taking the time to let us know what would make Lens Studio better.
If you think your Lens was rejected in error, please do share the Len's name, ID and a description of the content of the Lens. I'd be happy to look into the reason for rejection since you've read our guidelines and feel that your Lens falls within them.
Best,
Kaitlyn
Hi and thanks for getting back to me about this.
It would be good to know why the lens was rejected earlier. This is the ID: 202b9ed7-6b26-47f4-831b-d6b1a2178824
Was it the logo? If so, do I need a business account to make Lenses that contain a logo? But it seems that is for running ads, while I only want to publish a lens with lens studio.
So would be good with some more information, because we (big company in Norway) are planning to use this later in a campaign as well. So if it is a business account we need, we'll get that.
Hey Jelmer,
Happy to follow up with you offline about this as it's particular to your Lens. Be on the lookout for a Zendesk email coming your way.
Thanks,
Kaitlyn
