Cannot open/start projects

  • Hey Alex,

    Did you click on anything before that message popped up? Or as soon as Lens Studio opened did you see that message?

    Also, please post your exact Windows version, as described here and other system information such as CPU, GPU, etc. (which you can find out by following these instructions for system information and these for graphic card specifications).

  • I click on either new project or one of the templates.

    My stuff:

    Windows 10 Home Version 1703 and a 64 bit os and 64x cpu

    nvidia gtx 1060 6gb

    intel core i5 6500

    Might you have any non-latin symbols in your username in Windows system? Do you have enough free-space on HDD/SDD?

  • Hi Pavel, 

    I managed to get it working myself, I have four drives in my pc, I originally had it stored on my D drive which has about 750gb free but I just uninstalled and reinstalled it onto my E drive which has the same amount of storage left (750gb) my E drive is also a portable hard drive that just lives in my computer all the time.

    open ~/Library/Preferences/Snap/Lens\ Studio/ %LOCALAPPDATA%\Snap\Lens Studio Copy Text
  • Press ReturnEnter to run the command. The Lens Studio folder will automatically open
  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.
