Snapchat Lens Filter for Business

  • Lens Studio doesn't currently work for face lenses, only world lenses. Maybe they'll add this in the future?

I've seen commercial face filters before though, so possibly Snapchat partners have access to development in this area?

  • Hey Jasmine,

I followed up with you in another thread about the general use case of Lens Studio. To answer these questions though:

    1. There's a handy guide on how exactly you can submit Lenses through Lens Studio here.
    2. If you're looking for a source to build Lenses we have six certified Lens Studio Partners who can help out. Check them out here!
    3. As you can see in the short GIF here, when you share your Lens's Snapcode it joins the rest of the Lenses in the rear carousel. That being said it only lasts in the carousel for 24 hours. You can scan again once it's gone though to get it back in your carousel and the Snapcodes are good for a year.

As Reuben noted, Lens Studio currently does not offer the possibility to make Face Lenses, but there is plenty of opportunity for Lens making in the rear camera.

    Happy Creating,
