Texture (or material) produces a weird triangles effect
Hi everybody! I have a question about a visualization problem in Lens Studio (and consequently in Snapchat itself).
I have some very high quality model that I imported in Lens Studio, but its texture (or material, I can't tell) looks covered in small triangles and its appearence is completely different from the actual one (Lens Studio and Windows 3D Viewer comparison below)
Is there anything I can do to fix this problem? I uploaded the 3D model at this link, should you need it to do some trial and error: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rIIZJO0DbWLB1FSxsZ0jVn2BgXECkZkP/view?usp=sharing
I also point out that I'm using a foot tracking sample because I am actually working with a shoe 3D model that I can't share, but the problem appears to be the same in this other persian cat model.
Thank you,
Giacomo

Hi summer.nathan,
I visited your link but I don't understand how it should help me. The linked guide explains how to animate objects by using textures, while I'm just trying to fix my (static) texture to make it visualize correctly on my (static) 3D model.
Thank you nonetheless for your answer,
Giacomo
Hi again,
I managed to fix it by myself. The fix is to disable "normal map" on each material that composes the 3D model. If that doesn't fix some of its materials visualization, or "normal map" is already disabled, disabling "lighting" might help as well.
Bye!
it's good i'm happy for you, a probable solution it's won
